Apa itu Expert Advisor (EA)?

Setup MT5 untuk akun Deriv
Download MetaTrader 5
Pergi ke Deriv.com → Trader’s Hub → MT5. Atau langsung dari metatrader5.com.
Install MT5
Run installer, follow wizard. Available untuk Windows, Mac (via wrapper), Linux (via Wine), iOS, Android.
Create akun Deriv MT5
Di Deriv dashboard:

Anda akan dapat: Login number, Password, Server name.
Login di MT5 desktop app

- Buka MT5 MetaEditor (F4)
- New → Expert Advisor
- Paste source code MQL5
- Compile (F7)
- EA akan muncul di Navigator setelah compile success
Configure EA permissions
EA tidak akan run tanpa permissions yang tepat:
Global settings (MT5):
- Tools → Options → Expert Advisors tab
- Centang: Allow algorithmic trading
- Centang: Allow DLL imports (jika EA butuh)
- Centang: Allow WebRequest for listed URL (jika EA pakai API external)
- Tambah URLs yang dibutuhkan EA
Per-EA settings:
- Drag EA ke chart
- Dialog akan muncul
- Tab Common: Centang Allow Algo Trading
- Tab Inputs: Configure parameters EA
- Tab Dependencies: Allow DLLs jika diminta
- Klik OK
AutoTrading button (toolbar):
Tombol “AutoTrading” di toolbar harus HIJAU. Jika merah, EA tidak akan execute trades.
💡 Verify EA running
Di pojok kanan atas chart, harus muncul:
- Nama EA
- Smiley face 😊 hijau (EA aktif)
- Smiley face 😞 kuning (EA loaded tapi AutoTrading off)
- X merah (error)
Backtest EA sebelum live
Strategy Tester (built-in MT5):
Buka Strategy Tester
View → Strategy Tester (Ctrl+R)
Configure
- Expert: Pilih EA Anda
- Symbol: EUR/USD atau V75 untuk Deriv
- Period: Last 6-12 months minimum
- Modeling: “Every tick based on real ticks”
- Deposit: $10.000 default
Run backtest
